tranquil summertime

hello!

These last couple days have been really relaxing, but I'm itching for school and everything to start next week. Everyday has been similar, sleep, breakfast, grocery shopping, lunch, swimming, do whatever i want for a couple hours, visit grandma or uncle, dinner etc. Tonight I'm having my first dinner with the Rotary people and we'll talk about everything for the whole year. I'm excited. Then on Friday I'm going to the Rotary meeting of my hosting club. School starts next Tuesday and we're going early so I can pick my classes. Today I went running and it's so pretty around here. There are bunches of horse riding clubs and lots of fields and country side, but every road has trees planted next to it. It's so pretty. And it's only like 10/15 drive from the heart of Toulouse. I met the neighbors across the street today. Amazingly enough, the 2 sisters were born on the same day 2 years apart, and today is their birthday. Julie, is now 16, and she might be in my class at school (since I'm in 11th grade), and Fannie isturning 18 today. They are having a giant party tonight. So for now everything is good, just looking forward to things picking up, and I know that in a couple weeks I will wish for summer. It's nice because they don't watch too much TV, but Antoine and I did watch Toulouse lose to Liverpool last night. He explained to me all the different leagues and championships in European soccer...complicated! But I'll be happy if all I watch is soccer! I'm sure my next host family will be different. I just found out that I'll be visiting Rocomadour for the first weekend with the other exchange students. Hopefully it's warmer than in was in March (hey Mrs. Black!). The pictures on here are of U2, the very nice dog, and my closet door, where I put pictures up. I've gotten emails and blogs from the people from central Ill who are in mexico, brazil, japon, they are having amzing times too.

Au revoir for now!

Love, Liz
